Hotel Vermont Opening in Burlington Spring 2013

Hotel Vermont, a 125-bedroom luxury hotel, is set to open Spring of 2013. The property expects to gain LEED-certification, and will draw guests searching for an authentic Vermont experience, including a Hen of the Wood Restaurant, one of the state’s favorite restaurant chains.

An outdoor terrace with an open hearth, features views of Lake Champlain. The hotel will also have 2,000 square feet of green roof space, along with a 7,500 square foot Harbor Terrace that features local artist Richard Erdman's bronze sculptures. The hotel will offer four meeting rooms, two of which are water-view function rooms with 1,100 square feet of space for meetings and events for up to 80 guests. The InterContinental Montreal is bringing a unique "In the Know" experience to its guests and visitors of Montreal through an alliance with the Montreal Snow Village. The Village, which is North America’s first and only entire village made of snow and ice, will officially open on Tuesday, January 22nd in the city’s Parc Jean Drapeau. This year, the village’s architects and sculptors are using the Big Apple as inspiration for the village’s setting, sculptures and décor.
